Vice Direttrice

Irene Ponzo is the Deputy Director of FIERI (Forum of International and European Research on Immigration, www.fieri.it). She completed her Ph.D. in Comparative Sociological Research at the University of Turin (Italy) in 2006 and she was Visiting scholar at COMPAS, University of Oxford, in 2013. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the IMISCOE-Springer collection on Migration. Her main research interests are migrant integration and integration policies. Over the last years, she has mainly worked on asylum seekers’ reception and integration.
Irene Ponzo è vicedirettrice di FIERI. Ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Ricerca Sociale comparata presso l’Università di Torino (Italia) nel 2006 e nel 2013 è stata Visiting scholar presso COMPAS, Università di Oxford. È membro dell’Editorial Board della collana IMISCOE su migrazione di Springer. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca sono le politiche di integrazione e integrazione dei migranti. Negli ultimi anni ha lavorato principalmente sull’accoglienza e l’integrazione dei richiedenti asilo.
