FIERI organises international and local conferences to compare and dissaminate both the results of its research activities and the outcomes coming from its participation to international networks. Since 2003, FIERI has been organizing the series of seminars Crossroads - Immigration, emigration, internal migration, with the aim of fostering an interdisciplinary and comparative debate on issues regarding immigration in Italy and Italian migration internally and abroad.
